This was our fifth home purchase between my husband and me — with as many realtors representing us over the years — and Susan was head and shoulders the best agent that either of us have ever encountered or worked with. This last move was by far our most complicated, relocating 2000 miles from Boston to Dallas, purchasing what would become the most expensive home for either of us.

When we first met Susan, my spouse was being recruited to Dallas, but we had never spent any time in Texas before. We were unsure that we’d ever want to leave Boston at all. Susan very smartly (and generously) spent an entire day showing us a range of neighborhoods and properties in Dallas to familiarize us with the city. It helped us imagine what life could be like here, giving us the confidence to accept the job offer.

Then the true house hunt began — with the added complication that we would be reviewing properties remotely from Boston. Susan regularly consulted with us on our ever-narrowing requirements for neighborhoods and home features. She then gave us virtual tours of our favorite listings over FaceTime and provided thorough comp analyses. All the while, Susan was thoughtful yet measured in offering her professional opinions, without ever imposing her personal preferences over our own. That’s a delicate line she walked with aplomb.

Once we had an accepted offer, she handled all the subsequent steps with tremendous attention to detail and responsive communication. We had so many variables and uncertainties to contend with, that it was a relief to know we could rely on Susan’s unwavering professionalism and good judgment. Most of all, her calmly confident and reassuring demeanor minimized our stress during this unavoidably stressful transition.
